Next, The Uninvited goes to the garage of the Kinkle house where Harvey and Roz were. Roz invites him in, explaining to Harvey that her Cunning was telling her that denying this stranger entry would have dire consequences. They give him the food they had prepared which he begins to eat. While he was distracted, Roz tries to touch his wrist to use her Cunning on him to find out more about him, such as his origins. Instead, he grabs hers which has the desired effect all the same. She is started, yet acts fine. He finishes his food and leaves without a word.
