The Weird Sisters is a group of 3 powerful witches. They are seen as sisters to each other, not by blood, but by bond. This group has always used Greendale as their base of operations and most of the time the group was formed by uncanny teenage witches.
History
Prudence, Agatha, and Dorcas are the first and original known Weird Sisters in our history. Since they were all orphans, they were raised at the Academy of Unseen Arts and might've taken classes there, long before their Dark Baptism. They were taken in by Faustus Blackwood, yet, it'd be a while before they'd find out the truth. Namely that Prudence wasn't a real orphan, but Faustus' biological daughter.
After some time the three started to call themselves the Weird Sisters, and all the people around them did so too. Prudence became the leader of the group and took care of her other sisters. Since Dorcas did lack some confidence and Agatha was pretty enthusiastic at times, she was naturally the most logical choice for this position. During their time as Weird Sisters they belonged to the Church of Night.
After the death of Dorcas and when Agatha went insane, Prudence had to find new members for the group. Marie LeFleur (Mambo Marie) and Rosalind Walker were the ones who joined her to reform the Weird Sisters. This group belonged to the Order of Hecate and had an important mission. They had to monitor the planetarium to search for disruptions in all the realms. This, at the time, was due to the presence of the Eldritch Terrors. They did this together for some time. Eventually Marie left the mortal realm, and Agatha re-joined the Weird Sisters after regaining her sanity.
Known Weird Sisters
Throughout the series there have been several Weird Sisters. However, there are always just three of them at any point in time. Never more and never less. Their only known leader, has always been Prudence Blackwood. At first she had Dorcas Night and Agatha Night at her side. After Dorcas died and Agatha was driven insane by the Great God Pan, she had to find new sisters. Prudence found Marie and Rosalind as her new weird sisters. After some time, Agatha got her sanity back and replaced Marie as a Weird Sister.
Fun Facts
- All original members of the Weird Sisters were believed to have been orphans. Prudence later found out she wasn't.
- They talk, walk and act in unison.
- They can control minds, predict future and read thoughts of people.
- They quite enjoy tormenting mortal boys and Sabrina.
