The Weird arrives in Greendale in the number three slot. Upon arrival, The Weird speaks to Father Blackwood, telling him of their desire to possess Sabrina Spellman. When told of the difficulty to reach Sabrina and what it will require, The Weird offers the body it is currently in, thus gaining access to Sabrina when it is taken to the Spellman Mortuary.
Casting The Weird out of Sabrina
Once inside Sabrina, the assimilation process begins. First, The Weird appears to Sabrina in a dream in the form of Lucas, from which she awakes inside her bathtub. The next day, she is unable to perform the squid dissection in class at school. Lucas takes her home where she drinks a large glass of water and insists that she's fine. She tells Lucas to stay and the two make out on the couch where Lucas tells her that her tongue feels very rough. When she shows it to him so he could get a look, he leaves abruptly. After this she looks in the mirror and discovers her tongue was covered in suction cups and ink pouches were on her wrists. She tells Ambrose of these who report that the body had the same symptoms along with ammonia in place of blood, three hearts and soft bones.
Ambrose first tries to physically remove The Weird from Sabrina’s body. He fails and The Weird retreats further in. They then realize The Weird can’t live without water so in order to expel it, they have to drain the water from Sabrina’s body in order to make her inhospitable. With the help of a witch named Sycorax, a river witch, they drain all the water from sabrina’s body, a process during which she collapses. When she becomes inhospitable, she coughs The Weird’s lifeless body into a metal bucket.

Defeating The Weird
During class, The Weird takes over Sabrina’s body, announcing its goal to assimilate everyone in Greendale. After this, Ambrose renders The Weird unconscious. This leaves Sabrina to face The Weird in her own consciousness. It tells her that it picked her because she was both the strongest and the weakest. Thus making her the perfect host for it.
Sabrina wakes up in the mortuary. Ambrose tells her that the weird attached itself to her brain, so while they got rid of the physical body, they did not get rid of the consciousness of The Weird. In order to do this, they must once again make Sabrina an inhospitable host by infecting her brain.
They call upon the help of a witch named Pesta, who is a witch of rot. Ambrose tells her to infect Sabrina with all deseases known to mankind. This makes The Weird seek a new host, an octopus in Ambrose’s tank, which is frozen in order to trap The Weird. Later on, The Weird joins its brethren in The Void.
