Harvey Kinkle was born and raised in Greendale. When he was only five years old, his mother passed away and from then on he lived with his father and brother. He was born into a family that has had witch hunters in it for many generations.

He used to date Sabrina Spellman, but when he found out that she was a witch, he started to feel differently. All the lies that Sabrina tells him make him not trust her. He therefore ends their relationship.

Not long after Harvey broke up with Sabrina, he started dating Rosalind. Together, he has a band with her and Theo in it. The band is called the Fright Club which Sabrina later became a part of.

Personality

Harvey is a very caring guy, but at the same time very sensitive. He’s shy and very insecure after he encountered the Dark Lord when he was eight years old. He doesn't trust the supernatural, not involving Rosalind's cunning and Sabrina being a witch. However, it took him a very long time to accept that Sabrina was a witch after his trauma and what happened to Tommy.

Relations

Theo Putnam

Harvey has been close friends with Theo since childhood. When Theo made his transition from Susie to Theo, Harvey was there by his side. Although they were often seen together, they had adventures of their own.

Rosalind Walker

At first, Rosalind and Harvey were just friends when he was with Sabrina. When Sabrina left for the Academy of Unseen Arts, Rosalind and Harvey started seeing each other more and decided to pursue a relationship. After Lupercalia, they started dating. Harvey was there for her when she went blind.

Tommy Kinkle

Tommy was Harvey's brother who was always there when he needed him. He was the one who made sure that Mr. Kinkle didn't hurt Harvey. He was also the person who encouraged Harvey to follow his dreams when it came to his drawing. He made sure that Harvey didn't have to work down in the mines, which made him work longer hours himself. During one of his shifts, the mines collapsed while Tommy was down there. Sabrina Spellman revives him, but he comes back without a soul. Harvey doesn't remember this version of his brother and decides that this life isn't worth living for his brother. Harvey therefore decides to kill him.

Sabrina Spellman

Sabrina is Harvey's ex-girlfriend. Harvey was the first mortal to know that Sabrina was a witch, but then used a memory-erasing spell that made him forget it. Because Sabrina had a lot of secrets, their relationship started to go bad. When she tried to revive Harvey's brother, everything went wrong, which made him lose trust in her. They then became friends again, but their relationship was never the same.

Mr. Kinkle

Mr. Kinkle is Harvey and Tommy's father. Harvey has always had a very strained relationship with him as he has been violent and had problems with alcohol. Harvey has chosen to keep the relationship at a distance.

The mother died when Harvey was 5 years old and that's when it all started. Tommy was supposed to go to university, but chose to stay home to protect Harvey from Mr. Kinkle.

For many years, Mr. Kinkle tried to get Harvey to work in the mine. He pushed because he was the one who would take over the company that had existed for generations. What Mr. Kinkle didn't know was that when Harvey was in the mines during his teens, he was traumatized and didn't want to return. His passion was drawing, but it was something that Mr. Kinkle thought was too silly. It was nothing you could make a living from.

The day Tommy died, Harvey was left alone with his father. Sabrina intervened and gave Mr.Kinkle a magic eggnog to cure his alcoholism.

• Harvey met Nick before Sabrina, but this is nothing he remembers because of magic.
