The Judas Society was a Satanic organization, operating within the Church of Night. They were extremists and led by Faustus Blackwood who, above all elses, wanted to revert the coven to the old ways.
Its History
Prior to Faustus taking control of the Church of Night, Edward Spellman was leading the coven into a new age and a new direction. Progressive and adapting to a more modern world, the Judas Society was established to do the exact opposite. It was meant to bring in the regression of the Church of Night as well as all other Churches under the Churches of Darkness
The rules enforced within the Judas Society, were known as the Five Facets of Judas. The members of the society were not just handpicked, they also had to be warlocks as they were known to be highly misogynistic. These members would serve as Blackwood's right hand in the form of hitmen, bodyguards and enforcers.
Unfortunately, the Churches of Darkness had no plans on reforming or regressing. Therefore, Faustus decided to break with them and ended of reorganizing the Church of Night, into the Church of Judas. The end of the Judas Society came when Blackwood poisoned the entire coven and ran.
Five Facets of Judas
These were the rules enforced by Faustus Blackwood in order to regress the Church of Night back to what it once used to be.
| 1. | The Sons of Satan are the heirs of the Earth. Take what thou wilt, as is your right, by fire, blood or deceit. |
| 2. | Mortals are the swine of the Earth. We must not lay with them. |
| 3. | The Sons of Satan are the swineherds of man. |
| 4. | As Lilith served Satan, so must witches serve warlocks. |
| 5. | Warlocks shall claim dominion in the Church of Night just as their Father rules over Hell. |
Fun Facts
- As the name suggests, the society was named after Judas Blackwood.
- The name Judas comes from Judas Iscariot, the betraying apostle.
- Even the Dark Lord had little interest in the Judas Society and later, Church of Judas
