Welcome to the Second edition of the "Pet Whisperer"
Welcome to the Pet Whisperer. This article series is to help all of you pet owners with your sometimes troubled, or sad pets. Every week we will find a problem that we will try to solve.
This week I have been out there sniffing around and I noticed how dogs seem to think we have been away for years when we come home while cats seem like we weren’t gone for that long. I have done some research and for those who have the same questions are now getting the answer. Cat’s go back to ancient times where they were looked at as saints and were worshiped. They resemble Lions who are big and dangerous or at least learn how to be that.
Seeing as cats are small and they don’t have the same strength as a lion they are friendly but still feel like they deserve more. While dogs come from wolves they have always needed a pack. However grey wolves were dominated by humans. Because they need a pack, the dog looks to the human as the pack leader, or at least needs to because that way they are tame. No matter if your cat ignores you or your dog is very excited when the doorbell rings and thereby ignores you they love you very much and they wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!
