Issue #08


Welcome to Hilda's Cooking Corner. Here we share some wonderful recipes and we hope that you're gonna love all of them. We're going to share both baking and cooking so there will be something for everyone! Today we're sharing a good soup together with pasta!

Ingredients:

➸ 800g chopped tomatoes

➸ ⅓ cup coconut milk

➸ 1 large chopped onion

➸ 3 cloves garlic chopped

➸ ½ - 1 tsp sugar

➸ ½ - 1 tsp red chili flakes

➸ ½ - 1 tsp black pepper

➸ ½ - 1 tsp salt

➸ ½ cup water

➸ 2 tbsp tomato paste

➸ 1 tsp paprika

➸ 1 tsp dried oregano

➸ 1 tsp dried basil

➸ 1 tsp dried thyme


Instructions:

Heat some oil in a large pot. Saute the onion for 5 minutes


Add the garlic together with the spices and tomato paste. Stir and add the tomatoes and water. Bring this to a boil


Cover the pot with a lid and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally and also, crush the tomatoes with a large spoon.


Cook some pasta


It’s time to add salt, black pepper, red chili flakes and sugar.


Transfer to a blender and add the coconut milk.


Blend it until it’s creamy.

 


Add it to the pot again and add the pasta and stir. Here you have a good tomato soup!
