Time for a Whitney Peak behind the scenes

Welcome CAOS fans to a sneaky peek behind the scenes of the awesome cast from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. In this Blog we will be checking out the talented actors who brought our favorite characters to life on screen. Love or hate the characters, none would be possible without these brilliant people. So grab your favorite drink and snacks and let us jump right in.

The first person we shall be looking at is the fabulous Whitney Peak. But just who did Whitney Peak play in CAOS? Why she was no other than Judith Blackwood, the daughter of Faustus Blackwood the High Priest who of course we all remember by his epic villain arc.

What do we remember of the sweet Judith though? I’m sure there are some things we have all forgotten so read on to find out more and let’s jog your memory

Judith’s Unfortunate Start in Life

Whitney Peak didn’t play Judith until Judith became a teenager, but here is a little run down of who Judith actually is and how she came to be. Father Blackwood was expecting twin boys but instead he had a boy and a girl with Judith being the oldest of the two. Given how Father Blackwood believed in males being higher regarded than females, Zelda Spellman took the girl away out of fear for what may happen to her by her father.

She started off her life as Leticia and lived with the Spellmans in their home but eventually Zelda gave baby Leticia to Dezmelda (a hedge witch) after an encounter with Gryla (another hedge witch) who wanted to take the baby away. Without giving too many spoilers away, Faustus found out about Leticia and she was brought back to him where he renamed her Judith. He planned on marrying Judith to her twin brother Judas to keep the Blackwood bloodlines pure.

Of course when Faustus Blackwood goes a bit insane and tries to summon the Eldritch terrors he tries to sacrifice his twins to the ‘Deep One’ in exchange for the Eldritch egg. This is where Whitney Peak started to play Judith.

Prudence Blackwood has a huge grudge with her father and had been tracking him down for a long time in order to unalive him. She finds him in the Temporal Church, a place where time moves faster than the rest of the world and he is about to sacrifice two teenagers. Just when Prudence is about to strike, the twins plead for their fathers life and Prudence realizes they are her half siblings who are not babies anymore and rescues them from being sacrificed. They are brought into a room which happens to be inside an enchanted doll house where they will feel no pain or hunger, not notice time going by and they will not age.
Faustus is eventually successful in his summoning of the Eldritch terrors and once the imp of perverse is released we then see the twins again where they are now working for their father in a warped reality where Faustus is the ruler of everything.

Thus the story continues.

I think most people will agree that Judith didn’t get off to the best start in life and especially with a father like Faustus Blackwood. She was just unlucky.

Who is Whitney Peak

Now that we have dived into the character that Whitney Peak played, let's finish with a few facts about who the actress is behind the scenes.

- Whitney was born on January 28th 2003 which makes her an Aquarius
- She is a Ugandan-Canadian actress
- Not only is she an actress but a model as well
- She was named a brand ambassador for house Chanel in 2021
- Whitney was appointed the face of Coco Mademoiselle in 2023
- In Gossip Girl she played the main role of Zoya Lott and she also appeared in Hocus Pocus 2 as Becca
- Whitney attended a boarding school when she was younger and after her family relocated to Canada she attended public schools.
- She was also a competitive swimmer.
