From the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, to Riverdale, to even the Resident Evil franchise and Mortal Kombat, Adeline Rudolph could be considered a household-staple when it comes to sleek beauties on the screen. Her acting prowess holds an incredible roster of roles of all sorts, but not many know about her life off the screen. So let’s delve into that, shall we?
Born in Hong-Kong on February 10th, 1995, Adeline was born with a German and Korean descent, and a younger sister named Caroline. Due to her German descent, her parents enrolled her into the German Swiss International School, and she eventually went on to attend University College London (UCL). She graduated in 2017 with a degree in Political Sciences. Think we could get a President/Prime Minister Rudolph one day?
Getting her degree wasn’t the only thing Adeline was focused on achieving, though. Although her mother instilled in her a value of inner beauty over external beauty, there was no doubt that she was absolutely stunning, and thus became a UCL Fashion Society member. She was even featured as a model in UCL’s 2016 fashion show! Along with this, Adeline signed with Next Model Management, making huge splashes in the European, Hong Kong, and Korean markets! If you’ve seen her around this time before her debut on screen, it was probably in a Marie Claire Beauty or Elle Beauty campaign.
With such an illustrious modeling career, do you think this incredibly ambitious, driven woman would remain where she was? Absolutely not! Adeline Rudolph had dreams, and she’d be damned if she never reached the stars and beyond!
As we all know, Adeline’s first major breakthrough role would be as Agatha Night in the hit Netflix show, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina! Captivating audiences with her sleek, gothic beauty as a Weird Sister, it was no wonder she was immediately cast for several other roles such as;
Am I particularly biased to Adeline’s appearance as Agatha in the Chilling Adventure series? Perhaps! I couldn’t be blamed, though, since it’s her acting debut, as well as her best performance to date (in my humble opinion, anyway!)
Agatha, the character, went through a flurry of development and emotions that Adeline acted perfectly. From her cool, self-assured if “mildly” unhinged self, to her vulnerable, caring persona to her sisters and eventually to Sabrina herself, Adeline showed her acting prowess in giving such a visceral performance.
Every time that signature black lips, braided hair and well-poised figure walked onto the screen, audiences were captivated by her charisma and sheer aura. The key moments, probably, were when Agatha went from utterly malicious, to down right insane after her interaction with Pan. The other? When Dorcas (played by Abigail Cowen), her sister whom she murdered when under her plight of madness by Pan, came back to life to forgive her and sweetly kiss her forehead, bringing Agatha back to sanity.
Adeline acted the whole scene so perfectly, causing me and likely plenty of others to tear up at the soul-crushing melancholy and heart-warming show of sisterly love. Ms. Rudolf put her whole heart into her debut series, and it absolutely shows!
From student, to model, to actress, it’s downright impossible to not adore Adeline. She’s beautiful, intelligent, talented, and ambitious to the T! Climbing the ranks of Hollywood, winning hearts across the world, there’s absolutely no sign of this bombshell slowing down any time soon. Frankly, none of us particularly want her to either! Her inexplicable charisma and natural draw prevents just about anyone from complaining—except, maybe, wanting to see more of her! Adeline Rudolph is an incredible woman, and nothing short of an utter experience.
We all might be sad at the Chilling Adventures series having ended back in 2020, and thus Agatha Night being no longer a viable role for her to fill, but it’ll forever be her most landmark act and live forever in our hearts! We can’t wait to see what Adeline will do next~
