Greendale: Where it all began
Greendale is the beginning of it all, if we are being honest. Greendale has been the... catalyst for many different drastic events for centuries. Thus, you all would love to hear more about it. And that is what we are going to be covering in this. After all, we should know more about the beautiful little town called home, not only the Spellman family. But all of the others who are a part of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Universe. So, get ready for us to begin... Should you let Greendale cast a spell on you?
Greendale where is started
Greendale was founded in the same place where Lucifer first landed. What or how did he land here, you may ask? Well, that is easy; Lucifer was banished from Heaven. And thus, it made the very ground what is called a Nexus. A Nexus, if you didn't already know it, is a place that links the mortal world with the immortal world. And in the end, it also ends up making the grounds cursed.
Locations in Greendale
There are so many different locations within the small and quaint town. Of course, many people have their houses in the city and a few stores and orchards such as apple orchards. What exactly is included is down below. But it isn't truly such an amazing little wonder to see how aspects of the old world seem to mix, plus certain... ones of this world. That could be due to Greendale being an old town with a rich and ancient history.
There is Baxter High, the Spellman Mortuary, Cerberus Books, the Academy of Unseen Arts, and Holy Mother Church of Greendale, to name a few. There is also a known movie theater and an apple orchard, which produces some exciting apples. There are even the Greendale mines, which have a fascinating history. The mines if you did not know, have the entrance to hell hidden deep within the depths of them.
Residents of Greendale
Of course, with the show being placed within Greendale, it is well known that most, if not all, of them live within the little town. But, with Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Riverdale being in the same universe and not far from one another, it doesn't hurt to assume that... well, people are easily able to travel back and forth between the two. Here are some interesting figures who live here and some facts about them. Sabrina Spellman was not only part witch but also part human. But did you know she was also part angel due to who her biological father was? No? Well, now you do. When she first turned 16, she did not want to join the witch community. She wanted to stay with the mortals. This included her friends and her boyfriend at the time, Harvey Kinkle.
There are so many different characters, all of whom are intriguing in their own rights. Lucifer Morningstar, also known as The Dark Lord is one of these characters. And as you recall, he has a very unique history with the town and land of Greendale. Having lived there twice, if you wanted to get technical about it. The first being when he was cast out of Heaven. The second when he inhabited Nicholas Scratch's body. His having that history with the town adds another layer of complexity to not only the show's narrative but the character's history itself.
