Lucie Guest: A Powerhouse of Talent

When it comes to multi-talented individuals then Lucie Guest is a bright and shining star. She has many talents in the film industry from Writer, director and of course actress.

In the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina she portrayed one of the most cunning and ruthless characters in the show, Circe, a ‘fortune teller’ who arrived in Greendale with the Phantasmagoria carnival.

Who is Lucie Guest?

Lucie was born on 30th April 1993 and was originally born in Melbourne Australia before she moved to Canada with her family. She always had an affinity for acting and made her first acting debut in 2006.

She has a number of talents and has been a writer, director and an actress over the course of her career and was named as one of the top ten filmmakers to watch by independent magazine.

According to Lucie Guest’s socials she is a very spiritual individual and is vegan and meditates often.

Although there is not much to be found on the internet to do with her personal life or family history, it does not make her any less an impressive individual.

Portraying Circe

Lucie’s portrayal of Circe was certainly impressive in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and she really was able to capture all of Circe’s emotions and show us just how powerful and chilling the character was.

Circe came to Greendale with the Phantasmagoria Carnival which was run by a group of pagan witches who were trying to resurrect the Old God the Green man. This required the sacrifice of a virgin and it brought about a lot of devastation to Greendale in the process

Circe was a fortune teller and specialised in transformation magic and did not believe in keeping animals as pets. She turned several students from Baxter High into pigs and turned Hilda Spellman into a spider after she had shared that she kept spiders as pets. It was also shown in the series that Circe could change people back to flesh who had been turned to stone by Nagina.

Another skill that Circe had was that she was a fortune teller and was very good at reading palms and tarots.

This powerful witch met her demise at the hands of Hilda Spellman who got her revenge by snapping Circe’s neck after having been turned into a spider.
