Dorcas Night: Deceased Sister
Doras was part of a trio known as the Weird Sisters and was a student at the Academy of Unseen Arts. A member of the Church of Night, her life was a bit of a roller coaster. She, Prudence, and Agatha grew up together as orphans taken in by the coven. Hence the surname "Night." A few other fun facts about Dorcas include that she loved to be involved in séances, and she was not a very convincing actress. As a young child, she stammered when nervous and wasn't very confident.
She looked down on Sabrina because she was half-mortal. She and the other Weird Sisters frequently bullied her. After Faustus Blackwood tried to poison the entire coven, she was one of several saved by the Spellmans. That time, she managed to escape death.
Cruelty Lite
Dorcas was often just as cruel, blunt, and tactless as the other Weird Sisters Prudence and Agatha, but she also had a shy and sensitive streak. She wasn't totally on board when it came to all-out murder. While appearing to be in favor of killing Tommy Kinkle, it later became clear that Agatha pressured her. Using remote a killing spell and crushing him in the Greendale mines was still pretty brutal. While Agatha may have regretted that Harvey lived, it doesn't seem as though Dorcas really wanted to go as far as murdering them.
During the period of time when she was actively bullying Sabrina, she and her sisters once cursed her so she wouldn't be able to attend the Academy of Unseen Arts. She had some not-so-nice names for her too, "half-breed" being among them.
A Stony Sentence
While Dorcas could usually be seen sporting red hair, pale skin, and blue eyes, she has another look as well. That's the ghoulish gray-green skin, red eyes, and black teeth. Not very attractive. She also took on the appearance of stone once, but this was against her will.
A coven of pagans came to Greendale, and Dorcas was turned to stone by one of the coven members named Nagaina. Luckily, she was restored to normal (or some semblance) by the witch Circe. For a little while, it seemed like that would be the last time she 'died.' Fate, however, had other ideas.
Death, for Real this time
Pan, god and leader of the pagan coven, used his abilities, a rather stunning gaze, to drive Agatha mad. Using the Judas Kiss, her fellow Weird Sister killed Dorcas. Luckily, Prudence avenged this death and killed Pan. Zelda and her coven took care of the rest of the pagans to make Greendale safe again. Sadly, it was too late at that point for Dorcas. Or was it?
Sabrina tried to go back in time and prevent Dorcas's death. However, her corpse was found in the academy in this second timeline as well. Too late. So, her throat was slit by Agatha in one timeline and she was brutally stabbed by her in the other. Some people just can't win in any universe.
Back from the dead, sort of
Many deceased came back to the world of the living during the time of The Returned, Dorcas being one of them. She spent a little time with Agatha, and all seemed fine until the sister remembered the reason she was dead to begin with. As you can imagine, she wasn't too happy about being murdered by Agatha and attempted to return the favor. Luckily, Prudence intervened. Sadly, Dorcas was not fated to remain among the living and had to return when The Returned returned to the grave. Try saying that five times fast.
