Not everyone knows right from the get-go what it is they want out of life and that's perfectly fine! It's never too late to chase one's real passion and Skye is one of those people who prove this to be true.
Born as Skye P. Marshall, the actress that would go on to portray Mambo Marie on the hit TV show Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, grew up in Chicago. After graduating from high school, she went on to attend Northeastern Illinois University.
Serving in the United States Air Force for a few years at first, she also worked a generic corporate job in New York City, while training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting as well as the Broadway Dance Center. Only then, she'd move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Skye's very first appearance was as Towanda Braxton in the musical Toni Bracton: Unbreak My Heart in 2016. Quickly followed by a role in the thriller Misconduct that same year as well as a returning role in the TV series, The Fix.
On top of that, she had minor roles in both Grey's Atanomy and NCIS, before making an appearance in the drama Indivisible in 2018. At the same time, she appeared in Black Lightning and the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The latter she continued to appear in until 2020.
After the success of these TV shows, Skye Marshall wasn't quite done with her acting career just yet. Instead, she had a role in the movie Coup! in 2022 and in 2023 she starred in To Live and Die and Live.
Her most recent endeavors include the drama series Matlock, which started airing on September 22, 2024 and the movie Daft State. In 2025 she will continue to appear in Matlock and also in the movie Park Avenue.
Mambo Michelle Marie Fleur, or perhaps better known as Baron Samedi is portrayed by Skye Marshall in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She is pretending to be a voodoo priestess who comes to Greendale's aid in the fight against Phantasmagoria. Eventually joining the Order of Hecate, once they are defeated, she's also romantically involved with Zelda Spellman.
Eventually however, she reveals who she truly is. Baron Samedi, a vodou loa of the dead, who, naturally, belongs to the Realm of the Dead. Which is exactly where he has to return to alongside those that haunt Greendale during their encounter with the Returned.
Having to leave Zelda behind, Baron promises to wait for her when her time has come and as a token of her love, brings the witch's beloved familiar back to life.
